Who We are

With a founding background in public policy and conflict resolution, Keystone seeks first to understand all of the issues and interests involved and to identify the various technical, economic, legal, and political constraints and opportunities that are in play as it pertains to a given project goal. Once those issues are identified, it becomes possible to work through each piece and to find project balance and a path forward that is most agreeable to project proponents, concerned stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and elected officials tasked with carrying out the will of their constituents. 

The Keystone team finds this paramount project balance by bringing diverse educational and professional backgrounds in public policy, political science, environmental/city planning and sustainability, engineering, and finance to every project we are privileged to help lead. Our experience allows us to work with our Clients and their design/engineering/technical team to strategically shape and present a project that anticipates the needs and goals of our clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities from the outset. Collaboration minimizes potential conflict, which can result in substantive project revisions, delays, or regulatory denial. This demonstration of nuanced understanding and consideration of multiple points of view from the outset establishes good faith/goodwill and open lines of communication and shared understanding amongst all interested parties.
